We are coming to the close of the spring session and various programs may wish to show appreciation to assorted instructors, coordinators or other members that have contributed to the success of their program throughout the year. To this end some members may initiate a collection among other members of the program to get a token of appreciation for those persons.

AGOAC does not have any involvement with this type of solicitation. There are some things to keep in mind. There can be a suggested contribution amount, however, any amount should be accepted and members should not be put in a situation where they are made to feel uncomfortable because they cannot or do not want to contribute the suggested amount. No one is under any obligation to contribute anything and no verbal pressure should be made. Please be mindful that all members have different financial situations.
