The final registration deadline for the Ballroom Cha-Cha Class 2026 is May 27 , 2026.
Members who have not yet registered please register as soon as possible.

Clarification of Posting of Announcements

The posting of announcements is for matters directly related to the AGOAC matters. The website is an official communication channel of AGOAC. Any announcement considered as a public service announcement is not to be posted without the prior written approval of the Board of Directors. Failure to follow this process has caused previous issues. Items not being approved can lead to confusion and while the poster may have the best of intentions the approval process has to be followed. Programs that have a WhatsApp group chat may post non Club matters as determined by the administrator of the account. WhatsApp chats are not official communication channels of AGOAC since they are not distributed to every other program and every club member does not have access.
Non approved announcements will be removed as appropriate.
2026 Summer Shape and Tone (SNT)

Kindly reminder that the last classes of Spring Shape and Tone (SNT 1A and SNT 1B) will be on June 15, 2026. Then we will resume our Summer SNT 1C at AR1 from *7pm to 8:30pm* in the Monday’s evening starting from *July 6 until Aug 31*. No class on August 3, in observance of Civic Holiday.
Summer SNT will be a drop-in program for AGOAC members only, so please bring your membership cards, wear comfortably with sneakers, bring water bottles, a long resistance band and dumbbells/weights... let’s keep moving!
Zumba 2026 Summer Registration

There will be nine classes for the 2026 Summer Zumba program. Registration opens on June 3, 2026 at 9 pm. Please click the link below for registration, if you are interested to join the fun.
Venue: AGCC, AR1
Time: 7pm to 8pm
Dates: (Wednesdays) July 8 until September 2
Fee: $27.00 (exact change please - cash or cheque made payable to AGOAC and due on the first day of the class)
There are a limited number of spaces available. Above the maximum may be placed on the waitlist. You will automatically get a copy of your registration. Registration results will be posted on the website a week before the class starts and a WhatsApp group chat will be formed as well.

Badminton Registration for Summer 2026: Saturday May 30 at 9 am

Registration for the Badminton Summer 2026 will start on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 9:00 am (Toronto) on a first-come, first-served basis, with balanced court assignments, and members' past attendance records. Any registration received after the maximum participant limit will be added to the Waiting List.

Ballroom (International Cha Cha Class)

Registration for the Ballroom (International Cha Cha) class will open on May 8, 2026 (Friday) at 8:00am EDT. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis, and any registrations received once the class reaches its capacity will be placed on a waiting list.
Class Size Limit: Maximum of 12 couples (24 participants). Registrations must be made as couples or partners. AGOAC reserves the right to make final decisions regarding enrollment.
Class Details:
• Start Date: June 2026
• Schedule: Every Sunday from 5:30pm to 6:15 pm
• Location: Crosby Memorial Community Centre

AGOAC Programs Cancellation April 17- April 19 at AR1

A City tournament at Activity Room 1 this weekend. No AGOAC programs will run in AR1 on Friday, April 17, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19.

Cancellation of Friday Karaoke and Live Band on April 10th

The Ringette tournament is this weekend, and they will be using AR4 and the Youth Room from Friday, April 10th, until the end of the day Sunday, April 12.
These programs will be affected:
Friday, April 10th – Youth Room, All AGOAC programs cancelled (Karaoke and Live Band)
Sunday, April 12th – Youth Room, Karaoke has been moved to OAC
Mahjong Cancellation on March 30, April 1 and April 2

Markham Islanders are hosting a hockey tournament at Angus Glen, starting today (March 28th). We will need to cancel Mahjong in Activity Room 4 all next week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 1 pm to 4 pm). Therefore, the Mahjong program will resume on Wednesday, April 8.
